Only 5 ingredients and 25 minutes to make these delicious Keto Sausage Balls! This EASY sausage ball recipe makes an addictive low carb breakfast, appetizer, or snack. Because of the high fat and high protein ingredients, these are really filling so limit yourself to only 4 per serving.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 package of hot breakfast sausage
  • 1 cup blanched almond flour
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese (at room temperature, cut into small chunks)
  • 1 tsp baking powder

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly cover with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, stir together the almond flour and baking powder. Then stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.
  3. Cut in the sausage and cream cheese. Mix until just combined. Do not over-mix.
  4. Use a small cookie scoop to form 1 inch balls and place onto the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 8 minutes, then remove from oven and twist the pan of  balls  to reduce sticking. Bake for another 7-8 minutes, until it is desired crispiness.
